Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2which after the latest delay is now launching on September 9, will include a competitive PvP -or PvP- mode. Until now Saber Interactive had only focused on its campaign and cooperative mode.
The news is not particularly surprising because Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine (2011) by Relic Entertainment already had a mode of this typealthough the way of discovering it has been curious: through the video of a user who has in his hands The Art and Making of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.
This art book reveals locations and equipment from the Saber game and the Chaos Space Marine armors that would be available in competitive play. The original allowed several classes to be unlocked, customization and received downloadable content with new maps, weapons and armor. Hopefully the mode will be shown in the coming months, at one of the events this summer.
