The cell phones where WhatsApp stopped working in May

Since May 1, the Meta instant messaging application, WhatsApp stopped working on more than 30 cell phone models, among which are the brands Apple, Motorola, Lenovo, Huawei, Xiaomi, LG, Sony, and Samsung.

According to the company, the main reason is the lack of support for updates latest of this popular application.

“This decision is due to the need to keep the platform secure, efficient and up-to-date cwith the latest technologies. “Older models no longer have the necessary technical capabilities to run the application correctly,” they indicated.
