iOS 18 will be presented on June 10 at the WWDC 2024 and will bring important new features of Artificial Intelligence in many of its native applications, such as Messages, Safari, Notes, or the native Photos appwhich will incorporate generative AI functions for the photo editingwhich will allow users to edit much more easily.

But the Photos app It is one of the applications that already have AI. For example, its search engine allows us to know how many photos we have taken with each of the iPhones we have had or delete photos from specific applications, for example. Not to mention the visual search enginewhich is able to recognize animals, plants, clothing label icons and more.

The Photos app would also receive AI features in iOS 18

Once again, the media Appleinsider has been in charge of revealing this information. As they indicate, Apple would incorporate a new AI function in the Photos application that would allow elements to be deleted from photos or add them as text. A function that is currently being tested in macOS 15but it would surely also reach iOS 18 and iPadOS 18.

The Photos app would include, as we mentioned, a tool to remove objects from photos using AI. There are many applications that already do this, so it would be a great addition to existing tools such as automatic edited. On the other hand, the possibility of adding elements such as text would be another plus that would make the photos more artistic.

These new functions, along with other Artificial Intelligencewe will see them at WWDC 2024 along with the others that are expected, as a completely renewed assistant, a navigation assistant in Safari, improvements to Spotlight searches and more. There are some big updates coming and we are about to experience them.
