Report mango shipments to the United States

The National Mango Board (NMB) detailed in its latest report that the total volume of mango shipped to the US market in week 18, ending May 4, 2024, was approximately 3,804,438 boxes. Among the countries that are sending fruit, Mexico led the shipments.


The volume shipped in the aforementioned week was 3,407,207 boxes. This figure is lower than that registered in the same week of the last campaign, which was 4,077,933 boxes.




The country shipped 374,431 boxes. Like Mexico, the volume was lower compared to the same week last year, when the Central American country sent 504,477 boxes.


In the same vein as Mexico and Guatemala, the volume shipped by Nicaragua in week 18 of 2024 was lower than in 2023. In detail, They shipped 22,800 boxes compared to 33,600 boxes last year.

Next shipments

The NMB reported that the volume of mango to be shipped from week 19 (May 11) to week 24 (May 15) will be approximately 8% less than the previous year, with arrivals expected for week 20 to the 25th.
