Google Chrome is one of the most used browsers, but that does not mean that it always works properly. Over the past few weeks, users of the Android app have complained about a recurring bug: Chrome showed blank windows. Google has taken note of this situation and has just released the solution to this problem in Chrome.

The situation is not ideal, the problem arises when switching between different open tabs in Chrome. When jumping from one tab to another, the content disappears and Chrome goes completely blank. Furthermore, this problem occurs indefinitely on any device, regardless of whether it is a high-end or low-end terminal.

Google puts an end to one of Chrome’s most annoying bugs

In a post on the Chrome Support Blog Google recognizes the problem and indicates that it is now solved, the server update has been released and will reach all phones with Chrome. In fact, it will not be necessary to update the application because the solution will be implemented through a server.

All affected users should now have the solution in Google Chrome, those from Mountain View indicate that It was released on May 21 and has been rolling out to the browser ever since.. Of course, in some cases it may take a little longer than necessary to implement the solution.

Since an application update is not necessary, there is no concrete way to know if this solution to the error has been implemented, except to check that there are no longer blank windows when switching between tabs in Google Chrome. Of course, there is a trick to try force update in case the problem persists.

This trick consists of force quit Google Chrome, forcing the application to start from scratch. When doing this, what happens is that the application is forced to load everything that is pending, which could result in this solution being applied to the error that has been bothering users for several weeks.

Google has solved this Chrome problem, but it is most likely that a new error will come to light over the next few weeks. Right now, the important thing is that there are no more blank tabs when it comes to navigating between the ones you have open on your Android mobile.
