WhatsApp now allows us to activate the option to send photos and/or videos in HD quality by default

WhatsApp introduced a few months ago the ability to send images and videos in high definitiona characteristic known as “HD” which has been well received by users of the messaging application.

However, this function was not perfect, since it required activating the HD option every time you wanted to send content in this quality; otherwise it was sent in standard quality, which was especially awkward when sending multiple images simultaneously.

Now, Goal — the company responsible for WhatsApp — has responded to user requests. Now we can set by default whether we want to send content in HD or standard quality.

Follow the following instructions, applicable to both WhatsApp as for WhatsApp Business:

On the new screen we must enter the option “Storage and data”.

Then we must look for the option called “Load quality of multimedia files”.

We enter this option and finally we must choose “HD quality”if you wish of course.

This way, every time we want to send a video and/or image, it will be sent in HD quality by default.
