The universe of Magic: The Gathering It continues to expand into video games. The best example is Fallout, Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic franchise that is part of the recent card game collection.
As part of the collection Beyond the Multiversewhich expands Magic stories into established sagas and franchises, Wizards of the Coast has announced a new collaboration.
This time eyes turn to Assassin’s Creed, Ubisoft’s historical and stealth adventure saga. Best of all, its release date is very, very close.
At the WeeklyMTG event, they have been revealed the first cards of the Magic The Gathering: Assassin’s Creed collectionas well as a first trailer and details of how to play.
It will be the July 5, 2024 when the first set of Magic cards based on Assassin’s Creed is available on Amazon and specialized stores.
Heroes as renowned as Ezio, Altair or Eivor will make the leap to the Magic universe in the form of cards, along with other iconic elements of Assassin’s Creed.

One of the most important video game sagas comes to Magic with the new card collection, which will be available on July 5. Thus, elements such as the Animus, historical figures such as Leonardo DaVinci and illustrious assassins such as Ezio Auditore will be part of the Magic universe.
Wizards of the Coast has announced that The collection is compatible with Modern, Commander, Legacy and Vintage.
”The Animus has a new destiny: Magic: The Gathering. Take a leap of faith into a new form of the game you love and find the weapons, characters and real-world locations that await you on the battlefield”.
As usual, three sets will be released: the starter set, the main set and the upgrade set. New players should start with the Starter Kit.
On the official website (also in the image gallery that we have inserted), we can see the letters of Ezio Auditore di Firenze, The Animus, Altair, Edward Kenway, Kassandra either Eivor.
Skills specific to the saga are also included, such as the Leap of Faith, the Eagle Vision, the Sword of abundance and scarcityor even illustrious figures such as DaVinci and Socrates.
