The Rock Shox Flight Attendant suspension system arrived in the SCOTT Spark catalog a few weeks ago, but a model that combines SCOTT’s lightest carbon, the HMX SL, with the latest from Rock ShoxThis is the SCOTT Spark RC SL Flight Attendant.

It’s worth remembering that Nino Schurter was the first rider to test and help develop the new RockShox Flight Attendant, and he did so on his SCOTT Spark. But the peculiarities of the new suspension, together with the Spark’s limited space to house the shock, meant that Rock Shox had to introduce a specific shock and SCOTT had to introduce a new frame with the minimum modifications necessary to mount the Flight Attendant.

Only the internal space in the vertical tube and the service cover have changed, but this is the new version of the SCOTT Spark RC SL Flight Attendant. And in this model, the SL name indicates that the frame has been manufactured with the brand’s lightest carbon, the HMX SL.

The most important change to the frame is the increased space for the Flight Attendant shock with battery included and the new service cover that gives access to the shock.

This is the top-of-the-line model of the SCOTT Spark, SCOTT’s most expensive full-suspension mountain bike, and that means it’s fitted with the brand’s latest and greatest. Highlights include Syncros Silverton SL2 CF wheels, a one-piece carbon fibre rim and spokes construction, a full SRAM XX SL AXS groupset, RockShox SID Ultimate Flight Attendant suspension and the Spark RC Carbon HMX SL frame itself.

The complete SRAM XX SL AXS groupset and Syncros’ most advanced wheels, the Silverton SL2 CF.
