At the same time, exCCK workers have been removing the old signage and replacing it with the new visual identity of the Libertad Palace, which is also already reflected on the official website.

The Government sent the Hojarasca Law to Congress: it proposes the repeal of some 70 laws
The president’s government Javier Miley announced this Friday that sent the Hojarasca bill to Congresswhat are you looking for eliminate around 70 laws considered “useless, obsolete or that restrict our freedoms”.
The official announcement was made on Ministry of Deregulation and Transformation of the State through a statement, in which he indicated that the laws that are sought to be repealed “they represented an obstacle to freedoms and affected the right to property, among other abuses of the State”. He also noted that “many of them were sanctioned during the military governments of the 20th century.”
“With Hojarasca, some 70 laws will be repealed, among others, from the presidential periods of Isabel Perón; Agustín Lanusse; Juan Domingo Perón; Juan Carlos Onganía; Jorge Rafael Videla; Néstor Kirchner; Raúl Alfonsín; Arturo Illía; Reynaldo Bignone; Arturo Frondizi; Cristina Fernández de Kirchner; Agustín Justo; Edelmiro Farrell; José Uriburu and Raúl Lastiri,” the statement indicated.
Finally, the Government stressed that the Hojarasca Law “seeks to achieve a smaller, more orderly and, therefore, fairer legal body and an Argentina with greater freedom.”
The Government’s arguments to promote the Hojarasca Law
From the portfolio led by Federico Sturzenegger, they indicated that the Milei Government carried out “a detailed analysis of Argentine laws and found six reasons for the repeal of different norms”:
- Laws that limit individual freedom and restrict the right to property.
- Laws that eliminate useless and meaningless procedures.
- Laws that were surpassed, updated and improved by other later laws.
- Laws that are currently obsolete due to technological changes.
- Laws that ceased to make sense because they defined obligations for institutions that ceased to exist.
- Laws that create publicly funded organizations when they should be self-sustaining.
What will the path of the Leaf Litter Law be like in Congress?
Like any law, once sent by the President, the project will be presented, and then proceed to treatment in committees and parliamentary debate in the Chamber of Deputies and Senators.
In order for a meeting to take place on the premises, the presence of an absolute majority of the members is required. In the lower house there are 257 deputies, that is, the quorum is reached with 129 deputies. After the debate, the project is voted for or against. Except for specific issues that require special majorities, all laws are approved with the vote of the majority of those present.
