THE GOOD: This series, directed by Ernesto Contreras, Alba Gil and Alejandro Zuno, comes to offer a strong hug of strength and at the same time pay a worthy tribute to the so-called MUXES, those who are part of the culture of Juchitán, Oaxaca and who It is that man who lives and knows himself to be a woman, the only third sex officially recognized by society and who live their own gender beyond the body they have.
THE BEST: Here we will find a worthy representation of these characters, who in addition to being treated with respect, are a fan of openness for LGBT issues to which are added the terrible homophobia, violence, respect, the discovery of identity, acceptance, grief, trafficking in women and children and hate crimes, so Mexican projects like this are worth seeing, understanding, applauding and valuing.
THE IMPORTANT THING: We will live the story in two times, from the childhood stage of the protagonists, until 20 years later when they meet again as adults and with a different life on the part of one of them, thus achieving the appeal of this series: The performances by the entire main and supporting cast, who thanks to the love they give and the intensity that permeates their characters, allow us to feel them, love them and embrace them in the depths of our hearts, highlighting Diego Calva as Erik, Trinidad González as Sicaurú, Frida Sofia Cruz as Ana, Nova Coronel as Ámbar, Mercedes Hernández as Doña Lupe and Lisa Rivas as Paulina as a child (a friend of the protagonists), but ladies and gentlemen, Frida Sofia Cruz as Manuel as a child, Mauro Guzmán like Erik as a child and The Witch of Texcoco as Solange, are the three characters that will completely break us into pieces with their presence and who remind us that, above our differences, there is something of our essence that unites us, that chemistry indescribable feeling that arises among people and makes us feel alive, defending our ideals, understanding affection, showing the world that nothing and no one has the right to destroy the life that was selected for us, that we are not alone, that love, from all Its tones make us exist, forgive and live.
