The former president shared on social networks a publication by the PJ of Río Negro about the longest-serving member of that province and took advantage of the occasion to propose a probable “government program.”
“I want to share with you the video that the PJ of Río Negro published. Aurora, the oldest party member in that province at almost 104 years old. Listen carefully to what he wants for Argentina: that there be no shortage of bread or work. May there be no lack of peace or unity. Let there be no lack of study for young people or school for children. Bread, work, peace, union and education… Almost, almost a government program,” said Fernández de Kirchner.
On the other hand, the former president met on Monday, in a surprise manner, at the Patria Institute, with the Cegetista triumvire Pablo Moyano and the heads of two other unions.
The meeting caused anger in the Truckers union, according to reports. Hugo Moyano, head of the family clan and number one in the union, had not endorsed his son going to the meeting.
After his son’s meeting with Cristina, Hugo Moyano had decided that Pablo would not go to the plenary session of the Confederation of Transport Unions this Tuesday, in which it was decided to stop on October 30. However, Pablo Moyano was there and was one of the spokespersons for the measure of force.
Pablo Moyano’s decision to go see Cristina is surprising because just a month ago the union member had questioned her publicly: “I don’t understand her, her letters don’t add up to anything.” It was after the publication, a month ago, of a text in which the former president criticized Peronism and Peronism.
In the leadership of the CGT, the meeting caused noise. At the headquarters they understand that after last year’s electoral defeat, the way must be made for a renewal in the leadership of the party.
Regardless of what Pablo Moyano does individually, the CGT assures that they will not join Cristina’s scheme to preside over the party.
