The former president of the United States, Donald Trumpattended a rally in Wisconsin yesterday aboard a compactor. The Republican candidate for the White House thus responded to the president’s statements Joe Bidenwho on Tuesday, a week before the November 5 presidential election, called the former president’s supporters “trash.” “What do you think of my waste collection truck? I drive it in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden,” Trump said from the cab of the compactor, adorned with a stars and stripes flag and campaign stickers.
Two days ago, Biden appeared to address former President Trump’s supporters with the epithet “trash.” When commenting on the comedian’s controversial statements tony hinchcliffewho during a recent Trump rally in New York had called Puerto Rico “a garbage island in the middle of the ocean,” Biden said: “Just the other day, one of the speakers at the (Trump) rally called Puerto Rico “an island of garbage”. Well, let me tell you something. I don’t know any Puerto Rican who is… that I know of, from Puerto Rico, in my home state of Delaware, who is not a good, dignified and honorable person. The only trash I see floating around are his followers,” said Biden, referring to Trump, and accusing the latter of “demonizing Latinos.” The president’s statements, a few days before the presidential elections of November 5 and in a climate of growing rhetorical violence, immediately sparked a controversy. The White House issued a statement claiming that Biden was misinterpreted, and Biden did the same with a message posted on X.
