A woman has died in a horrifying accident after she was thrown from a bus window and severely injured in two. WARNING: DISTRESSING
A woman has died in a horror freak accident after she fell out of a bus and got hit by a train.
Julia de Albuquerque Violato, 37, was on her way to drop off clothes at a charity shop in Brasillia, Brazil, when the bus she was traveling on ended up on the train tracks.
Shocking footage captured the moment an approaching freight train careened towards the bus honking its horn.
Unable to stop in time, the train can then be seen smashing into the side of the bus,
killing the 37-year-old who was reportedly cut in half.
According to Fire Department officials, Ms Violato was thrown from the bus window and ran over by the train.
Ms Violato’s devastated mother described her daughter as “fearless and courageous”.
“It was my love. Julia was the youngest, she lived with me and was my companion,” Ana Rosa told local media.
“We did everything together. She was my best travel companion.
“She took care of me, because, despite being an active person, I am elderly. She always said she didn’t want to die before me. Ella she cared about me a lot and she loved me so much. “I don’t know how I’m going to live without her.”
Ms Violato had graduated in fine arts from the University of Brasília and was on her way to a charity store to drop off clothes when the accident took place.
“She always brought people together. For her, there was no distinction, anyone could be a friend,” Ms Rosa said.
The heartbroken mother is reportedly going to take action against the bus company, where four others were also injured.
One person sustained a head injury and fractures, another suffered serious head trauma and was taken to hospital unconscious and a third was left with abrasions to their face and arms.
The bus driver was reportedly in shock and had a nervous breakdown.
Authorities cordoned off the area and investigations into the accident are ongoing.
