Israeli Minister Haim Biton and his father were inside the car that crashed earlier today.

An Israeli politician, who also serves as a Minister, Haim Biton‘s car had an accident on Saturday. Following this, several local media reports surfaced suggesting that the Minister was inside the vehicle along with his father at the time of the crash. However, the Police later clarified that Biton’s parents were involved in the accident and not him.

The accident took place in Jerusalem earlier today. The vehicle registered under Biton hit a bus in the Ramot neighborhood, the cops said. A video of the incident was widely circulated on social media showing a black sedan completely damaged with its bumper nearly destroyed in the crash. The minister was not accompanying his father at the time the crash happened in the high-traffic area. Both, Biton’s parents including his father and mother were inside the car, which was destroyed after the incident.

The Minister’s father was seriously injured and his mother also sustained moderate injuries, as per the Israeli media. Biton is a minister in the ministry of education in Israel. According to police, the vehicle hit a bus in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem.

An automobile that had flipped over was captured in a video that was shared on social media. Two other people including a 19-year-old woman were also injured and the circumstances of the incident were under investigation, the police said.
