Fire destroys home, displaces family

A family has been displaced following a fire that destroyed a home on Corgey Road in Pleasanton on Monday.

The call for a fully engulfed structure fire was made at around 6:45 pm Three fire departments responded to the blaze including Pleasanton, Jourdanton VFD and Leming VFD.

According to Atascosa County Fire Marshal Ronald Sanchez, there were no injuries.

A GoFundMe account has been created to help the family of six who are now displaced.

Sanchez said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
