A total of 17 people were arrested this Wednesday in the context of the demonstrations for Workers’ Day in the Metropolitan Region.

According to information from Carabineros, there were three simultaneous marches carried out in the central sector of Santiago, two carried out peacefully and another – organized by the Classist Central of Workers – in which various incidents were recordedincluding looting and confrontations between hooded men and police personnel in Barrio Brasil and República.
