Punjab Kings captain, Sam Curran, won the toss and chose to bowl first in their IPL match against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Stadium in Dharamsala on Thursday.

Neither team is officially eliminated – yet – but tonight’s loser will be. Both have won just four of their 11 matches so far and need to win all of their remaining three matches to have an unlikely, mathematical chance of finishing in the top four, Play Off places.

Punjab have included England batsman, Liam Livingstone, in place of South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada. For the visitors, Kiwi fast bowler Lockie Ferguson replaces Australian allrounder Glenn Maxwell.
