Police Update 1: Suspicious Fire, Mango Hill

Police have charged a third teenage boy following investigations into the fire that destroyed two homes in Mango Hill yesterday, May 14.

A 14-year-old Mango Hill boy was arrested this afternoon and has been charged with two counts of arson, and one count each of entering premises with intent, endangering particular property by fire.

He is due to appear in Redcliffe Childrens Court on May 17.

The 13-year-old Mango Hill boy who was initially charged yesterday has also now been charged with two counts of arson, and one count each of entering premises with intent, endangering particular property by fire.

He is due to appear in Pine Rivers Childrens Court on May 27.

Police thank the community for their assistance with the investigation.
