At least twelve people were poisoned this afternoon by pepper spray after a fight inside a market in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of San Cristóbal.
The incident occurred in a gallery located in Independencia at 1700, when in the middle of a fight, a person, who would be in charge of security at the property, threw pepper spray.
At least twelve people were affected and two of them had to be transferred by ambulances from the SAME emergency service to different health centers, police sources reported.
It all happened around 1:30 p.m., when a merchant and the market manager argued over a closure that the property would have suffered as a result of having expired fire extinguishers. When the brawl escalated and there were some physical protests, a man in charge of security intervened and threw pepper spray, causing several people to be affected.
Police sources told NA that personnel from police station 7 B intervened in the incident and took away the man who threw the delayed pepper spray.
