Indore: A man was killed and three persons were seriously injured after a tractor was hit by a mini truck in Badgonda area on Sunday evening. DSP Umakant Choudhary said that the accident took place near Mhow-Manpur road around 4 pm. Tractor driver Devashish Rai said that they were on their way from Simrol to Sagore when they were hit by a speeding mini truck coming from the opposite direction. A resident of West Bengal, Sudan Chandra Roy, who was traveling on the tractor was killed in the accident, while Devashish Roy, Kasim and Khoka Monu were injured. They were taken to Mhow civil hospital from where they were referred to Indore for further treatment. The villagers said that the impact of the accident was such that the truck broke into three pieces. They reached the spot and extricated the injured from the vehicle with difficulty. The locals said that police reached the spot very late. tnn
