Against the gas tariff: Council joins the campaign to gather signatures

The Rio Grande City Deliberative Council announced that they are joining the campaign to collect signatures against the increases in gas rates recorded in the bills that this month arrived at homes, businesses, and industries in Tierra del Fuego.

In this way at the Entry Table of the Deliberative Council, I quote in Lasserre 318, the neighbors, who wish to do so, will be able to sign the forms to later be submitted to the Government of the province and thus accompany the Appeal for Amparo that Governor Gustavo Melella is going to motorize to try to reverse the increases. The time to do so is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The president of the Deliberative Council, Guadalupe Zamora, pointed out that the decision responds to the need to “accompany the people of Fuegian, in this complex context of the family economy,” given that the increases recorded “put too heavy a burden on the shoulders of merchants, small businesses, producers, family businesses, and to this we must add the consequences of the remaining adjustment policies of the national government,” he noted.

Therefore, “from the Deliberative Council we want to join this campaign to gather signatures, join forces with the authorities who are working on the appeal for protection and try to reverse this situation that is so detrimental to all Fuegian men and women.”
