This Wednesday we spoke on our radio program with the deputy commissioner and press chief of the Chaco police, Alejandro Dominguezwho told us the details of the fatal accident that occurred in the National Route 11 at km. 983 in which a 73-year-old person lost his life.
In this regard, Domínguez stated: “This road accident occurred yesterday around 4:30 p.m., the protagonists were the driver of a Volkswagen car and a Mercedes Benz model 958 truck, “The impact was frontal.”
“After the incident, the driver of the car suffered very serious injuries and was transported by ambulance, where it was found that he no longer had vital signs. The victim was identified as Gustavo Guillermo Evans73 years old and residing in Resistencia.”
“The driver of the truck, 28 years old and from Makallé, Chaco, was unharmed.a breathalyzer test was performed, throwing negative (0.00). The expertise will determine what happened.”
Regarding the possible causes of the accident, the deputy commissioner stated: “the truck was going to Resistencia and the car was going to Santa Fe. The impact was frontal and, apparently, Evans had previously had an argument with his partner and had left angrily in his vehicle. “It is not ruled out that he wanted to take his own life.”
“Subsequently, the deceased’s relatives were informed of what had happened, and they approached the scene.”
