This Monday, May 27, Memorial Day, or Memorial Day, is celebrated in the United States, one of the most important commemorations for Americans since it pays tribute to those soldiers who died in the service of the nation in wars.

Because it is a federal holiday, some financial, postal and public services will not be open while most retail chains, supermarkets, fast food outlets and restaurants will remain open.

The New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq (NDAQ) will not trade on Monday. Bank branches will remain closed, but ATMs and online banking will be available. For its part, the United States Postal Service will not deliver mail on this day, UPS and FedEx shipping services are also suspended.
