New episode of theft of pipes in gas meters in General Rodríguez: where it occurred

It happened in the early hours of this Sunday, June 2, on Independencia Street, near the Vicente López club.

There, unknown criminals committed a crime that has been repeated in the urban area of ​​the city: bronze pipes from the gas meter were stolen from a home on that block.

“When we woke up, we discovered that we didn’t have gas and when we checked the meter we realized the theft. I was alone on this block, we had to call a gasman to repair this,” mentioned the neighbor affected by the theft.

Less than three months ago, At the end of March, a similar robbery occurred on 100 Primera Junta Street, where the thieves left a strangled pipe in a meter and caused a gas leak that required the presence of firefighters so that, in a forty-minute operation together with Naturgy, they could resolve the situation.

Months ago, in December of last year, there was another one with the same characteristics on Whelan Street (on the north side of the center) in the meter on the wall of the DDI property of the Buenos Aires Policewhich produced another gas leak and forced the Firefighters to go there to make the repair.
