What will be voted on in Guanajuato?

Guanajuato not only elects its new governor, who will lead the state executive for the next six years, but will also renew its local Congress. This legislative body is made up of 36 deputies, of which 22 are elected by relative majority and 14 by proportional representation, with a mandate of three years.

Likewise, the Municipal presidents of the 46 municipalities of Guanajuato will end their mandate next year, which has called for elections for his successors. In total, 553 elected positions will be renewed, including 418 councilors and 52 trustees.
