Once again, National Route 226 was the scene of a strong road accident that involved three vehicles and left a woman, originally from Mar del Plata, hospitalized.

The incident occurred this Friday morning, minutes after 7, at kilometer 151, meters from the La Vasconia tollbooth.
A Renault Captur, domain AD 689 CR, driven by María, was involved in the accident. Giarini, from Mar del Plata, 43 years old; a Ford Ranger, patent AF 786 KC, guided by the Mexican Vicente Leiver Aquino, 42; and a Ford KA, registration AC 791 VO, which was driven by Santiago Rocha (57) and in which Adolfo Ignacio traveled as a companion Rocha Fields (88), both from Olavarría.
Personnel from the Road Police Detachment, the Central Fire Station and an ambulance from SAME worked at the scene.
Fortunately, and despite the visible deterioration in the different vehicles,or there were fatalities and almost all of those involved emerged unharmed.
Only Giarini had to be transferred to the Ramón Santamarina Municipal Hospital but, according to the troops present, she was in good health and was only referred as a precaution.
From the healthcare center they reported that the 43-year-old woman who was transferred by chest trauma, the rigorous studies were performed and she was discharged with alarm guidelines
Due to the accident, traffic on the Route remained partially restricted and the authorities requested that people circulate with caution.
Visible damage
The scene of the accident, with wheels significantly damageds, suggested that the outcome could be different.
The most affected vehicle was precisely the Captur, whose driver had to be hospitalized. The left front part was practically destroyed and the windshield splintered. Additionally, as a result of the impact, the airbags were activated.
For its part, the Ranger, belonging to the Vestas company, also suffered Damage to the front left side.
Meanwhile, the Ka in which the Rocha people from Olavarria circulated only showed dents on the left sideright at the driver’s door.
