A uniformed officer was injured after the attack with explosives that occurred in the last few hours near the Popayán police command.
“Thanks to the quick reaction of our uniformed officers, we were able to act immediately and locate this vehicle, which caused these criminals to flee and only activated two of these explosive charges“, indicated General Jorge Urquijo, commander of Police Region No.4.

It was learned that the dump truck that was used to launch the explosives was entered into the city and was located two blocks from the entrance of the Guillermo León Valencia airport in Popayán.
This attack occurred around 5:10 pm this Friday, June 7.
