A traffic accident occurred on National Route 98, 40 km from the city of Bandera in a southerly direction, resulting in injuries of varying severity.

Details of the event:

A Toyota Hilux model vehicle, driven by Mario José Schonfeld, hit from behind a Honda motorcycle model XR 125, which was traveling in the same direction of traffic. The motorcycle was driven by José Oscar Rodríguez and had as companions Milagros Anahí Rodríguez and two minors.

Victims and injured:

As a result of the impact, Milagros Anahí Rodríguez was seriously injured and was transferred to the Tostado Hospital, province of Santa Fe, in an ambulance from the Escolta Guard Hospital. The two minors were also taken to the same hospital, although no information could be obtained about their health status. The driver of the motorcycle, José Oscar Rodríguez, was in a state of shock but did not have serious injuries. The driver of the truck, Mario José Schonfeld, was unharmed and was evaluated by health personnel from the Fortín Inca Health Post.

Police actions:

Police personnel from the Bandera Departmental Police Station, in charge of Child. Pablo Villarreal, was present at the scene of the incident and carried out the corresponding tasks. The preparation of a tax file as summary judicial information, the preparation of a police information report, the visual inspection and sketch of the scene of the incident, the seizure of both vehicles, the performance of criminalistics tasks, the taking of samples of blood to the driver of the truck and the delay of the same until the state of health of the injured is known.
