One of the big surprises of the Xbox Games Showcase was without a doubt the new installment of Gears of War: E-Day. The trailer managed to captivate all lovers of the saga and it is no wonder, since you will finally be able to see Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago together again. This new story will narrate what happened on Emergency Day, that is, 14 years before the first installment of the saga. Cliff Bleszinski, the creator of the original installments, has reacted to the trailer and his response is that of any lover of the game.
Cliff himself has been in charge of increasing the hype of users thanks to his official Twitter account, it was there where he decided to comment a little on what he thought of everything seen in the trailer and the possibilities that this brings with it. Of course, one thing is clear, the most veteran of Gears will shed the odd tear at the story that The Coalition can tell in this new installment. Dom’s children? Maria? Carlos? The possibilities are really high.
Something that has not gone unnoticed by fans is that in the tweet itself, Cliff Bleszinski also states that the team did not need him to make a really good product and reconnect with the fans of the series. Of course, what could be seen in the presentation trailer has been everything that lovers of the saga wanted, therefore it seems that the final result will be truly devastating.
