Jay’s last call for help
The disappearance report was registered on Monday evening and the search began immediately. Hours before, Jay called a friend with whom he had traveled to Tenerife to tell him that he was lost and thirsty and that he barely had a 1% battery on mobile phone.
This young woman relates that there was attended a music festival with this and another friend and that she left early because she was tired. She also says that Jay had met two people and he left with them to his apartment in Masca, from which he had left in the morning. His last location places him on a trail just over a kilometer away from said tourist accommodation and a ten hour walk from the hotel where he was staying with his two friends.
The young man’s mother reports that he receives false calls
The mother of the young man has narrated the ordeal he has been experiencing since last Monday, June 17, the day his son Jay disappeared: “It is disgusting, people call and tell me that they have kidnapped jay because she owes them money,” the woman denounces to the media.
However, Benemérita has wanted to explain that, although all the hypotheses remain open in this disappearance, not suspected there is one debt in the middle.
Jay is 1.80 meters tall, has a slim build, black hair and blue eyes.
