The legendary rock star Bonnie Tyler takes to the stages of Torrejón de Ardoz

The legendary rock singer, Bonnie Tyler, has returned to the stage with her European tour and one of the places where she has presented her Just Live Tour has been Torrejón de Ardoz, within the framework of the 2024 Popular Festivals.

“Acting still excites me, even after all these years! I entered show business for a reason: to sing live, not to become famous! I love being on stage with my amazing band. It gives me a lot of joy, it makes me feel young and keeps me happy,” said the singer at the presentation of her tour.

Bonnie Tyler, who grew up in the quiet village of Skewen, near Swansea, Wales, has become one of the world’s leading rock-pop artists, with numerous chart hits. Known for her signature husky voice, she has an impressive list of singles including “Total Eclipse of the Heart,” “It’s a Heartache,” “Holding Out for a Hero,” “Lost in France,” “More Than a Lover” and “Bitterblue.”

Her extraordinary achievements have earned her several awards, including Grammy nominations for Best Female Pop Vocalist and Best Rock Vocalist, the RSH Gold Award, the Echo Award and the Golden Europa Award for Most Successful Artist.

Throughout his more than 50-year career, Tyler has performed on stages around the world and has received widespread praise for his recent albums Rocks and Honey and Between the Earth and the Stars.

His latest album, In Berlin, released in spring 2024, offers a contemporary live vision of the sounds and styles of this pop-rock icon. Tyler is currently working on new music and has just released his first memoir, Straight from the Heart.
