América vs Juárez – The preseason begins!

Today, the Águilas will begin their short preseason ahead of the tournaments they will have in the second half of 2024.

América will be facing Juárez in a friendly match where André Jardine called up all the available players, including Luis Ángel Malagón, who seems to have recovered from the injury that left him out of the Copa América.

Furthermore, in the call for this match, we were able to see several basic players, so for tonight we can expect two totally different lineups, the “best” for the first half and a team full of young people for the second.

Two preseason games before the Liga MX Super Cup.

The América board decided to have only two preparation games before playing for the first trophy of the season, although its planning is a bit strange.

Today they play in El Paso, Texas and in a couple of days they will be playing another game in Coapa against Herediano from Costa Rica, to later fly again to the United States where they will be playing the Liga MX Super Cup on December 30. June.

The ideal would have been to stay in the United States until the Super Cup, but the board decided on this work plan for the team, so we hope it does not affect them.

When and where to watch the game?

The match between América and Juárez will be played today at 7:00 p.m. at the Sun Bowl Stadium and will be broadcast on Fox Sports.

As a curious fact, it is strange that Fox Sports is in charge of broadcasting an América friendly, something that TUDN normally does, but it still has to do with what was commented by Emilio Azcárraga, owner of the team, who mentioned that they could allow more television stations to broadcast the team’s matches.
