The National Meteorological Service (SNM) in San Juan issued a flood warning for several municipalities in western Puerto Rico, until 4:45 p.m.

According to the SNM, the municipalities of Aguada, Añasco, Mayagüez, Moca and Rincón will be affected due to the intense rains that are being recorded in the region.

The meteorological agency detailed that urban flooding and small stream flooding is expected for these towns.

Meteorology urges not to cross flooded areas

In these cases, the SNM urges not to cross flooded roads, given that the accumulation of water is generally greater than what can be seen with the naked eye.
