This Sunday, around 4:30 p.m., a 41-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman They were found dead in her home. The Police are investigating the causes, but everything indicates that a gas leak would be the cause of the deaths.

As reported by the Ministery of security, through a call to 911, a couple alerted the Police about the impossibility of making contact with their son since last Friday. According to them, the man had told them that he had gone to a friend’s house and that he informed them that the gas in that house was working poorly.

Given what was reported, police personnel went to the woman’s house located on Gutiérrez Street, in the department of Guaymallen. Upon arriving at the scene, the uniformed officers observed the man’s vehicle parked on the road and after calling several times and receiving no answers, they asked the Justice Department for permission to enter.

That’s how the police entered the house and found that there was strong smell of gas. After ventilating the house, they entered and found the couple in the bedroom. The woman was lying on the bed, covered and with her feet dangling, while the man was lying on the floor, in a ventral cubital position.

Personnel from the Coordinated Emergency Service (SEC) arrived at the scene and confirmed the death of both. Scientific Police, firefighters and Investigations personnel arrived at the home to determine the reasons for the deaths. While Ecogas personnel provided services to the gas leak and the Tax Office No. 9 of Guaymallén took the case.
