Guarda is already preparing for the XXXII edition of the Festa da Langosta e da Cociña Mariñeirawhich will start on Friday, July 5 and will run until Sunday, July 7.
This year, the traditional guardesa festival, which will be held in a large tent in the port, will feature several free parallel activitieslike an escape room under the title “Marine essence” organized by Eureka Cultural Challenge, guided visits to the Santa Trega fort and boat routes.
The common menu of the party will be made up of Lobster, 40 euros whole and 25 half; barnacles, 20 euros a portion; crab, 6 euros per unit; and yolk bagel, at 22 euros whole, 14 euros for half and 4 euros for a portion. Local restaurants also participate in the celebration Casa Olga, O Cangrexal, O Roxo and Xeito, and the Gran Novás winery.

More activities
Throughout the weekend, there will be departures in the Piueiro at 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.; guided tours of the Santa Tegra fort, 45 minutes long, in four shifts: 12:00, 1:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., with the Casa Bosque do Monte as the meeting point.
