He former president of Mexico Enrique Peña Nieto was caught while shopping at the store Uniqlo in Madrid Spainraising several comments on social networks, because although in the country these products can be purchased through online purchases, since there are no physical branches, many are interested in knowing the range of products and prices that offers the Japanese store.

The viral photos of her ex-husband Angelica Riverabetter known as Seagullhighlights the continued interest in the former president in the country, who governed Mexico between 2012 and 2018 and has remained in the public eye despite having moved to live in the Iberian Peninsula.

For this reason, the name of the Japanese store, as well as that of Alejandro’s father, Nicole, Paulina Peña Pretelini and Diego Peña Díaz, are trending on social networks in Spain and Mexico, since more than one is very interested in knowing what motivated the ex present to be seen shopping in said place and some even wonder what they could have acquired.

The store Uniqlo, of Japanese origin, is known for offering affordable clothing for various price ranges. Uniqlo opened its first store in Japan in 1984, and is part of the Fast Retailing group of brands, which also includes Helmut Lang and Theory. A brand representative explains on his website:

“Our garments are simple and basic, as well as universal, so they can be combined freely and with your own style, whatever it is, any day of the year”.

Uniqlo prices vary significantly. According to its distributor in Mexico, a men’s shirt or a women’s blouse costs just over 400 pesos ($20), while some t-shirts can cost less than 200 pesos ($10).

Some more exclusive products, such as a 90% wool coat, usually have a price of more than 3,000 pesos ($150), although with promotions they can be found for less than 1,500 pesos ($75). In addition, women’s dresses do not usually exceed 1000 pesos (50 dollars), and some models can be found for less than 300 pesos (15 dollars).

At the end of 2019, approximately a year after ending his term, Peña Nieto was seen wearing a wig while walking with his then partner Tania Ruiz, which generated a wave of comments on networks and the media.
