Trump advisers propose halting aid to Ukraine if it does not negotiate peace with Russia

A plan leaked by two security advisors of former US President Donald Trump reveals the strategy that the Republican leader would take for the war in Ukraine, if he wins the presidential elections next November. Washington would warn kyiv that it would only continue to receive American weapons if it begins truce talks with Moscow. Simultaneously, he would warn Russia that any refusal in this regard would result in greater US aid to the Ukrainian military. Meanwhile, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants against former Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and the Chief of the General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, for war crimes.

Condition the delivery of weapons to Ukraine as a way to negotiate peace with Russia. It is the essence of the plan that the former president of the United States, Donald Trump, would implement if he returned to the White House after the elections on November 5.

This was revealed by the retired lieutenant general Keith Kelloggwho designed the plan together with Fred Fleitzwho served as chief of staff to his then-National Security Advisor, John Bolton.

According to the outlined strategy, an eventual new Trump administration would require Ukraine to start peace talks with Russia if kyiv intends to continue receiving American weapons.

The proposal states that there would be a ceasefire on the main battle fronts during the talks.
