Following a traffic accident in the run-up to the Rally Poland, Sébastien Ogier will not be part of said competition. Details in the following note.

In the days before the start, Sebastien Ogier was involved in an accident on the streets of Poland with his partner and co-pilot, Seer Ladais. After finishing in the hospital without serious injuries, the team Toyota Gazoo Racing confirmed the pilot’s absence from the competition.

“All those involved have undergone scans which showed no serious injuries. While Landais has been discharged, Ogier will remain under medical observation overnight and will not be able to participate in the event. The safety and well-being of all those involved remains being the team’s top priority”the team reported. The eight-time Rally champion driver will return to work with the Japanese structure from Latvia, starting next July 18.
