In this way, all the gas tanks, known as “chanchitas”, were recharged by the province so that they could supply service to all homes, institutions and the light generating engine.
This morning, the town used the digital system for the exchange of gas cylinders for the first time. The distribution included the more than 300 families benefiting from the program, who will receive a free 15-kg gas cylinder from the provincial government every two weeks.
The system is being used successfully in the Andean area, which is why it was decided to extend its implementation to Maquinchao to speed up the operation.
Likewise, the town also received the second delivery of bottles corresponding to Pilquiniyeu, which will be essential for its community, as it cannot have access to the main gas network.
Thus, the Government of the province continues with its commitment to be present, through the different programs of the Calor Plan, for the families of the coldest area of Río Negro and ensure that they go through the harshness of winter in the best possible way.
It should be noted that this program remains active throughout the year and provides for the installation and recharging of jugs in the homes and offices of the Promotion Commissions of the province, through the mobilization of hundreds of propane gas trucks.
