This Saturday there was action for Patronato in the Primera Nacional tournament. For the 36th date of Zone A, the Pattern visited Arsenal de Sarandí at the Julio Grondona stadium. The refereeing of the match was in charge of Julio Barraza.

The first risky chance came after seven minutes and favored the local team, at the feet of Lucas Ríos. It was after good pressure from Ignacio Sabatini on Joel Ghirardello, who lost the ball. Sabatini enabled the arrival of Ríos, who took the ball diagonally from the center to the right and, reaching the area, took a weak shot that Julio Salvá controlled without problems.

After an entry with some anxiety, Patronato began to combine better around ten minutes into the game. Both on the right and on the left, the Paraná team achieved associated play. This, unfortunately, did not translate into clear scoring chances.

There was a dangerous free kick on each side. In the case of the local team, Abel Amaya tried a cross that seemed to go into the goal from the right side and forced Julio Salvá’s hand; while in the case of the visit, it was a shot from the left side of the attack: Juan Barinaga looked for the goal with a shot from mid-height that Facundo Masuero correctly rejected.

Sabatini was a constant annoyance for the visiting team. Ghirardello had problems controlling it during the first minutes and the local team’s clearest chances came from his intervention. Although the play was annulled due to offside, a cross shot from the right by Sabatini that Ríos did not manage to push was the clearest thing of those first minutes.

About half an hour into the game, Arsenal already had control of the game a few minutes ago. His pressure on the opponent’s movements prevented the Pattern could have the ball and, in turn, allowed the Arse generate the first approximations.

After a filtered pass into the area, Ríos managed to deflect the ball in front of Salva, who with an excellent start touched the ball and prevented the host team from scoring. With little, Arsenal generated the clearest chances against an opponent that no longer had any fluidity in the remainder of the first half.

Ríos had a very clear chance at the beginning of the second half. After an overflow on the left, the attacker got rid of Ghirardello and took a cross shot that hit the left post of Salvá, who threw himself to cover that side.

During the second half it was once again the home team that took over the responsibility of managing the pace of the game. This did not cause a noticeable dominance or scoring chances, but it should be noted that Patronato did little and nothing to take the advantage.

A great play between Alan Bonansea and Emanuel Dening was the highlight of the game. For the first time the players of the Pattern They teamed up together and created a great chance that ended with Maximiliano Rueda’s shot from inside the area going over the crossbar.

The changes gave Arsenal the opening of the scoring. Matías Lucero started the attack on the left and, after a movement that confused everyone, he put a pass between the lines for Agustín Maziero, who returned it to the wall, leaving him one-on-one with Julio Salvá. In front of the goalkeeper, Lucero passed the ball to the right for Ignacio Sabatini. Alone in front of the goal, the midfielder scored the goal and made it 1-0 in the 34th minute. Dark panorama for the Pattern.

Patronato had a clear chance shortly after to tie. It was after a lateral from the right sent to the Bonansea position. The attacker won in the area and brought the ball down to Emanuel Dening, who took a strong shot against the right post that Facundo Masuero rejected with a great stretch. The ball went to the corner kick.

A long delivery from the right into the area found Franco Coronel alone inside the area. The attacker, who appeared from the left, controlled and looked for the definition to Masuero’s left post, which was thrown correctly and contained the delivery. Save by the local goalkeeper.

At 41, a loss in the exit of the admitted Arnaldo González gave Sabatini the chance to score. The attacker advanced from the right and took a powerful shot that Salvá cleared with a great flight towards the corner kick.

And from that corner came the goal: the center from the right located Nicolás Domingo’s head outside the area. When it seemed that the play would give nothing to the Arsethe header located Lucero on the left, who hit a great volley against Salvá’s left post to score 2-0. Lucero’s was a key income for the local team, which settled the duel at 42.

Board of Trustees had the attempt to Seven González from outside the area – close to Masuero’s right post – but little else. It was a defeat and the complication is now very big for him. Pattern.

On the next date, Patronato will play against San Martín de San Juan starting at 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 20. Arsenal, for its part, will visit Racing de Córdoba on Saturday from 5 p.m.
