Jalisco is looking forward to the electoral results this Sunday, June 2, 2024, in which thousands of citizens exercised their right to vote in what, according to experts, is the largest process in the history of our country.
Pablo Lemus, Claudia Delgadillo and Laura Haro are competing for the governorship of Jalisco, awaiting the quick count that will be announced starting at 11:00 p.m.
In our state, the results of the Preliminary Electoral Results Program (PREP) suffered a delay, which generated discomfort and suspicion among the people of Guadalajara. The president advisor of the Electoral Institute of Citizen Participation (IEPC), Paula Ramírez Hönhne justified the delay that because they had not arrived the scrutiny and counting records, work that is done in the polling stations.
Who is leading the polls, according to PREP Jalisco?
At the 12:50 am cutoff, Pablo Lemus, Citizen Movement candidate, heads the PREP Jalisco with a total of 40.9101% of advantage compared to Claudia Delgadillo, who has 39.4053% of votes, and Laura Haro, who so far has 16.9266% of votes.
No candidate can be considered victorious until the INE makes it official on their respective networks.
