Two women from Venado Tuerto died in a road accident in Corriente

It happened this Saturday afternoon at kilometer 630 of National Route 14, where the car in which the women were traveling collided head-on with a truck, killing both at the scene.

The accident occurred after 4:30 p.m. on the national highway, near Paraje Pirayú, in the east of the province of Corrientes, between a Volkswagen Gol Trend car and a Ford Ranger truck.

As a result of the crash, the two women who were traveling in the car died. Meanwhile, the four occupants of the truck were taken to the Santo Tomé Hospital.

According to the report provided by the head of the Alvear Fire Station, Alicia Velazco to the Filmaciones Anly portal, the fatal victims (identified as Auil S., 37 years old, and Dotta G., 30 years old) were from Venado Tuerto (one of them born in Parchment).

Alvear Corrientes Firefighters, health personnel from Alvear and Torrent Station, National Gendarmerie and Police from the Province of Corrientes worked at the scene to clear the route, which was closed for a few hours.
