The investigating judge prosecutes Mónica Oltra “by legal imperative” and obliged by the Valencia Court

Judge Vicente Ríos, head of the Investigative Court number 15 of Valencia, issued this Friday the abbreviated procedure order, a prior step to the dock, against Mónica Oltra and the other 15 investigated in the case regarding the alleged cover-up of the abuse by her ex-husband of a minor under guardianship by the Generalitat Valenciana.

The instructor has not waited even 24 hours to issue the resolution, after the order of the fourth section of the Provincial Court of Valencia, which ordered the reopening of the case alleging a “plausible hypothesis.”

The judge’s resolution, notified this Friday, contains a single and very brief legal basis: “By legal imperative.” The order reflects the abysmal discrepancy between the instructor and the fourth section of the Provincial Court of Valencia, which admitted the appeals of the accusations, in the hands of the extreme right, against the provisional dismissal issued by Judge Vicente Ríos.

The order, which is not final, summons the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the private and popular accusations to request the opening of an oral trial by formulating a document of accusation, to request, on the contrary, the dismissal of the case or, “exceptionally”, the carrying out of proceedings complementary.
