The Mexican actor Édgar Vivar, recognized for his role as “Mr. Barriga” in the Roberto Gómez Bolaños series, “El Chavo del 8”, had a fall during the comedy program Vecinos, confirmed his co-star, actor César Bono.

The accident happened last week, Bono said, when Vivar, 75, was entering the set. He had to be hospitalized and receive several stitches in his head, but the Mexican media was quick to assure that he is fine.

One of the last publications of Vivar, who was also “Ñoño” in “El Chavo” and “el Botija” in “El show de Chespirito”, was of condolence for the death of a colleague, actress Lorena Velázquez, at 84 years.
