The final of Eurovision 2024 will take place this Saturday, May 11, but first it will be the turn of the two semifinals: the first will be held this Tuesday, May 7 and the second, this Thursday, May 9. The representatives of the 37 countries participating in Eurovision 2024 have already carried out their individual rehearsals prior to the two semi-finals and the general rehearsal on Friday, when the finalist countries are known.
Until the second rehearsal, it had not been possible to see much, except for some photographs or some TikTok, due to the restrictive policies of the European Broadcasting Union. On Saturday were the second rehearsals and we already saw some progress of the sets and costumes. On the stage we see three red velvet platforms; in the middle, positioned Mery Bas with the two dancers, just like in the Benidorm Festival. One of the square structures that the Eurovision stage has surrounds them with the symbol of a red lock.
On the background screen, projections appear in black, red and orange colors that simulate a large city made up of tall buildings. This scenery is inspired by the 30s and the Art Deco. Mery Bas, the singer of Nebulossa, did not finish tuning.

Mery Bas wears a black lace jumpsuit with crystals from the designer Michael Costello. The piece has 63,000 shiny crystals and, like the scenery, is inspired by the 1930s. It also uses a matte black vinyl corset that, according to Raúl Amor, “Evokes a subtle ‘dominatrix vibe’, providing a touch of sensuality and empowerment to the whole.” Although the dancers seemed like they were going to keep their clothes on this time, halfway through the performance they shed their black costumes and are left with fishnet stockings, black boots, and a corset that doesn’t leave much to the imagination.
