Controversies aside, as you know Eurovision has two semi-finals (with 15 and 16 participating countries respectively) and a Grand finale, in which the qualifiers of this screening will be joined by the Big 5 (United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany and Spain) and the host country, Sweden. In this way, we will see when they are and how we can see these events.

Who participates in each semifinal

The 68th edition of Eurovision will start on Tuesday with the first semi-final, 15 countries will participate, showing their respective themes in this order: Cyprus, Serbia, Lithuania, Ireland, Ukraine, Poland, Croatia, Slovenia, Finland, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Australia, Portugal and Luxembourg. “Out of competition”, so to speak, we will have the performances of the United Kingdom, Germany and Sweden.

For the second semi-final, which will be held on Thursday, we will have 16 countries, whose performances will take turns in this way: Malta, Albania, Greece, Switzerland, Czechia, Austria, Denmark, Armenia, Latvia, San Marino, Georgia, Belgium, Estonia, Israel, Norway and the Netherlands. In addition, we will see the performances of France, Spain and Italy.

When is it and how to watch Eurovision 2024 for free

Eurovision 2024 is organized by Swedish public television SVT together with the European Broadcasting Union and will feature Malin Akerman and Petra Mede as presenters. The first semi-final will be Tuesday 7th at 9:00 p.m. (CET); the second, on Thursday the 9th at 9:00 p.m.; and the grand final will be held on Saturday the 11th at the same time, 9:00 p.m.

Like every year, RTVE will be responsible for broadcasting Eurovision in Spain. Specifically, the first semi-final can be seen live via La 2while La 1 will be in charge of broadcasting both the second semi-final and the Grand Final. In addition, it can be seen via RTVE Play.
