The new season of “Merlina” (Wednesday) began recording in Ireland and the production announced who will be part of the new cast of the successful Netflix series that modernized “The Adams Family.”

“The Addams Family will be enrolling in Nevermore Academy this season, along with a dream cast, full of acting icons and new faces”said the show’s creators, Al Gough and Miles Millar, in a statement.

The hit Netlifx series, which spent 20 weeks in the global Top 10 and entered the Top 10 in 93 countries, follows the adventures of Merlina Addams, the iconic, gothic and macabre eldest daughter of the Addams familywho spends his days as a student at Nevermore Academy, a school for young people with unique abilities.

During her stay at the Academy, the young woman solves mysteries and faces personal challenges while uncovering the school’s dark secrets which shelters mermaids, vampires and werewolves, among other creatures.
