The second season of Hawkeye has not yet been officially confirmed, but there is already some information about everything they are preparing.

According to the latest reports, Marvel Studios and Disney+ have given the green light to the second season of Hawkeye, the action and adventure series that we could see in 2021. Therefore, Hailee Steinfeld will return to play Kate Bishop, while Jeremy Renner He will return as Clint Barton, but this time his role will be minor.
Among the details I have found, the villains of this season will be inspired by The Raid, the acclaimed 2011 Indonesian action film. While Clint’s nephew, Barney Barton aka Trickshot, will have an important role in the story. But the best will come when Kate and Clint find themselves trapped in the same place, which will lead to an intense action sequence inspired by The Raid.
Barney Barton is a popular character in the Hawkeye comics, and that’s why I’m excited to see him appear in the Disney Plus series. Trickshot is a skilled marksman with a criminal past, making him a perfect enemy for Clint and Kate. Since later he could have his moment of redemption and could even have a romance with Kate.
The second season of Hawkeye promises to be an adventure full of action and emotions. With a villain inspired by The Raid and an appearance by Barney Barton, it’s sure to be a hit with fans of the series.
But there is more.
Although now you may be wondering which criminal group could fit perfectly into the Hawkeye series. Well, from what I have been able to read, it has already been presented, more specifically in the film Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings. Because the criminal organization known as The Ten Rings would return, which is currently led by Xu Xialing, daughter of Xu Wenwu and therefore sister of Shang-Chi.
Therefore, the Hawkeye series could serve as closure to the story of The Ten Rings that was left open with the post-credits scene of the 2021 film. Although, we will have to wait a little to be able to confirm all this.
