Actors Luke Thompson (Benedict Bridgerton), Nicola Coughlan (Penelope Featherington) and Claudia Jessie (Eloise Bridgerton) were in charge of guessing what, according to them, are the Chileanisms that we use when we want “gossip, like we do in our series.”

“Hello, we are the cast of Bridgerton and today we are going to try to guess the meaning of some Chilean slang words,” commented the actors.

Actors tried to guess the meaning

The first term selected for guessing was “cahuinero” to which Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington, pointed out: “Come on, tell me, you love being a cahuinerodon’t stop now’”, causing laughter from his companions.

For his part, actor Luke Thompson, who plays Benedict, had to guess what it means. “avocado sandwich”. “As in: No, don’t tell him, “It’s an avocado sandwich.”said the actor.

Luke explained the meaning of the phrase. “Are avocado sandwiches famous for spilling?” asked ‘Benedict’, closing by assuring that “Deep down, I’m a damn little avocado sandwich.”

The third Chileanism that they had to guess was: “Eri whole toad”. “I can’t believe you told the Queen, eri whole toad“explained the actor.

“She is entirely something,” commented ‘Eloise,’ but The word “toad” was the one that brought the most confusion to the actors.
