Cristina Pedroche in ‘El Hormiguero’ (ATRESMEDIA)

Cristina Pedroche has come to have fun at The Anthill this Wednesday to present his book Thanks to fear, in which she has shared the feelings that ran through her head after becoming a mother for the first time. The presenter was facing a new stage in her life and she began to suffer from all the fears that surround her motherhood and, after telling her therapist, she encouraged her to start writing down everything she felt in the moment.

In his interview with Pablo Motos he wanted to talk about the moment he is currently in and the total protection he has decided to have with his daughter on the digital level and in the media. She explained that they have made the decision not to post images of her on social networks, since she suffers daily harassment on them: “Social networks don’t know who is seeing that. Nowadays almost every week I receive very ugly photos. In my email, in private Instagram… photos of people doing things to each other. “Videos in which they show my face to people doing things that are not me and that are not right.”

In addition to that, she has taken the opportunity to comment on how she felt about the announcement of her pregnancy by Lecturas. The magazine published the exclusive about her on December 28, 2022, April Fool’s Day, which was for her a very risky strategy to justify whether it was a rumor that was not true. She has described it as: “so dirty, so ugly, that someone forced me to say it when I was so afraid that it wouldn’t turn out well. It wasn’t one of the weeks that are supposed to be safe to be able to tell it more safely.”. A fear that locked her at home for months and made her feel “very alone.”

However, the couple has made the decision not to show anything about their daughter in the media or online, until she is mature enough to choose for herself. And she has criticized all those media that constantly expose her and try to look for the girl’s face: “My daughter… I feel sorry because there are things that, due to my position, my daughter is going to have other things that are going to be very good but others I do not like”. For this reason, she has made a plea to the media so that stop photographing her whenever you walk with her on the street: “Say what you want about me, about my husband too, we are adults and we know how to handle it, but not about my daughter, please.”

And, although she understands that it is one of the weights of fame, she has defended that neither her husband, Dabiz Muñoz, nor she is dedicated to selling exclusives in magazines. And this has created one of the most exciting moments of the night, as the presenter He couldn’t stop the tears from coming when defending her safety: “If I am at the airport I don’t like having photos taken of me with my daughter. I don’t want to. If I go with my daughter I don’t want them to take photos of me because I don’t enter this circle of giving exclusives and things like that.”
